logitech software not picking up g502 hero

I would really prefer not to have to go through every single game and rebinding my controls when I know there is a solution that I previously used. I know for a fact that I had figured out a solution to this using Logitech Gaming Software about two years ago, but now even with getting rid of the default uses for those buttons (dpi up and dpi down) my games are still not registering these buttons. I'm less concerned about this as it was an easy solution to figure out most of the settings I had, but I am now having issues with my games not recognizing the g7 and g8 buttons. Most mice released since have used a PWM3366 variant, like the PWM3360, PWM3389, etc. At the lowest setting, the mouse should barely move on-screen. If your mouse has those buttons, try it and see if it helps. Not much need to do it, just if you wanted the levels to be different. The five preset levels can be adjusted on a PC using Logitechs software. However, I found that by installing G Hub my entire mouse's configuration was wiped. The old G502 used the PWM3366, which when it released marked a huge shift in mouse sensor tech. I used on-board memory for my mouse so that I wouldn't have to configure it again when I moved to my pc.
